Join Our Team at Dunlarg Care Home situated in the tranquil countryside of Keady village, County Armagh. Dunlarg Care Home offers a welcoming and supportive environment with easy access to local shops and public transport. Our home comprises two units, providing care for up to 58 residents. We offer a broad range of care services including General Nursing and General Residential Care, with specialised support for individuals with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health needs, and Physical Disabilities under 65. The Role

  • You will pride yourself on providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, fostering a welcoming environment where residents are treated with respect and dignity, and staff feel valued and supported.
  • As part of our frontline team, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the Home, assisting with activities of daily living ensuring the wellbeing and comfort of residents.
  • As a Care Assistant, you will also provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting a sense of compassion.
  • Help residents maintain independence where possible, encouraging involvement in activities.
  • Support the nursing and healthcare team by monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any changes in their health or behaviour.
  • Follow care plans tailored to individual residents' needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.
