Join Our Team at Dunlarg Care Home. Situated in the tranquil countryside of Keady village, County Armagh, Dunlarg Care Home offers a welcoming and supportive environment with easy access to local shops and public transport. Our home comprises two units, providing care for up to 58 residents. We offer a broad range of care services including General Nursing and General Residential Care, with specialised support for individuals with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health needs, and Physical Disabilities under 65. The role of the Domestic Assistant is essential in our mission to provide excellent care. Supporting the Housekeeper with the environment of the Home, the Domestic Assistant will contribute to the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents. The Domestic Assistant will ensure that the Home is clean, tidy and welcoming at all times. The Domestic Assistant role at Healthcare Ireland Group works closely with the care teams and residents, building trusting relationships to create a comfortable environment where our residents feel safe and cared for.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the expected cleanliness and hygiene standards are achieved throughout the home
- Cover domestic duties as assigned
- Identify and report any damage, faults or other issues to maintenance or management
- Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule
- Use and store cleaning products in accordance to COSHH regulations
- Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager or Housekeeper.
