The Home Join the Warm and Welcoming Team at Rosemary Lodge Care Home located just a short 10-minute walk from Antrim town centre, Rosemary Lodge Care Home offers a friendly, supportive environment for up to 42 residents. We provide care across a range of categories including Residential Care, Dementia, Learning Disability (Over 65), Physical Disability (Over 65), and Mental Health (excluding Learning Disability or Dementia) Over 65.

Our team is known for being approachable, compassionate, and always ready to help whether it's supporting daily needs, sharing in meaningful activities, or simply enjoying a friendly chat and a cup of tea. The Role

  • You will pride yourself on providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, fostering a welcoming environment where residents are treated with respect and dignity, and staff feel valued and supported.
  • As part of our frontline team, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the Home, assisting with activities of daily living ensuring the wellbeing and comfort of residents.
  • As a Care Assistant, you will also provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting a sense of compassion.
  • Help residents maintain independence where possible, encouraging involvement in activities.
  • Support the nursing and healthcare team by monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any changes in their health or behaviour.
  • Follow care plans tailored to individual residents' needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Desired Criteria

  • Educated to QCF/ NVQ Level 2 is desirable, but not essential.
