Glenabbey Manor is a friendly, safe and welcoming residential and dementia care home, with provision for up to 76 residents. Our residents are encouraged to enjoy as much of an independent lifestyle as possible, with the assurance of a compassionate, kind and professional care team, always on hand to support individuals' daily care needs and wishes.
We are proud of our person-centred approach to care and treat our residents with the utmost respect and dignity, as they so deserve. The modern accommodation at Glenabbey Manor is spacious, comfortable and beautifully designed, with easy accessibility enabling residents to move around safely. Our private bedroom spaces are fully furnished, with a flat screen TV and en-suite shower room as standard. Residents may bring their own home accessories and furniture, to personalise their space and make it their home.
As a Care Assistant with Kathryn Homes, you'll join a dedicated team united by a profound desire to positively impact the lives of our residents. We're seeking Care Assistants who are wholeheartedly devoted to supporting our residents in embracing life to the fullest, promoting independence within a kind and compassionate setting. - Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping them maintain a good quality of life.
- Help residents maintain independence where possible, encouraging involvement in activities.
- Support the nursing and healthcare team by monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any changes in their health or behaviour.
- Follow care plans tailored to individual residents' needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Desired Criteria: Educated to QCF/ NVQ Level 2 is desirable, but not essential. Previous experience in Health and Social Care preferred, although not essential as full training will be provided.
