Located beside the scenic River Lagan and just minutes from Lisburn town centre, Rosevale Lodge Care Home is a purpose-built facility offering specialist care for up to 68 residents living with dementia. With convenient access to local shops, bus, and train services, the home is well connected and easily accessible. Rosevale Lodge is divided into two dedicated units: Dementia Nursing and Dementia Residential, ensuring tailored, person-centred care that meets a wide range of needs. With a long-standing reputation in the local community for delivering high-quality, dignified care, Rosevale Lodge is a place where residents are treated with respect and individuality is celebrated.
The Role
You will pride yourself on providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, fostering a welcoming environment where residents are treated with respect and dignity, and staff feel valued and supported. As part of our frontline team, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the Home, assisting with activities of daily living ensuring the wellbeing and comfort of residents. As a Care Assistant, you will also provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting a sense of compassion:
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping them maintain a good quality of life.
- Help residents maintain independence where possible, encouraging involvement in activities.
- Support the nursing and healthcare team by monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any changes in their health or behaviour.
- Follow care plans tailored to individual residents' needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Desired Criteria
- Educated to QCF/ NVQ Level 2 is desirable, but not essential.
