The Home City View Court, situated in Belfast, delivers person-centred nursing care for up to 100 residents. Recently refurbished, City View Court is a light, modern and spacious home offering a range of specialist care services for older people, including residential, dementia and general nursing. Our kind and compassionate team not only provides care, but shares their good company, companionship and assistance whenever required, ensuring that all residents feel listened to and supported.
Whilst all private bedrooms are fully furnished, residents are welcome to personalise the space with their own accessories and furniture. Residents at City View Court can enjoy the comfortable lounges and dining spaces to relax, enjoy a nutritious meal freshly prepared by our chef, or to socialise. Despite its city centre location, City View Court boasts a calm, restful atmosphere.
About the role: This role is maternity cover, with possibility of becoming permanent. As a Care Assistant with Kathryn Homes, you'll join a dedicated team united by a profound desire to positively impact the lives of our residents. We're seeking Care Assistants who are wholeheartedly devoted to supporting our residents in embracing life to the fullest, promoting independence within a kind and compassionate setting. Required Criteria:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A good standard of oral and written English.
- A non-judgemental approach to others.
- Excellent communication skills with the compassion required to deliver high-quality care to our residents.
- Respectful to not only residents but the values and beliefs of other team members.
Desired Criteria:
- Educated to QCF/ NVQ Level 2 is desirable, but not essential.
- Previous experience in Health and Social Care preferred, although not essential as full training will be provided.
