The Home Willow Grove is a beautiful, modern care home situated in Dungannon. Our spacious home has a team of talented, highly-skilled professionals and provides person-centred residential care for older people, including those living with dementia. The Willow Grove team are proud of their strong links with the local community, ensuring our residents have all that they need, whilst their health and wellbeing is well-tended to. We create a comfortable home-from-home environment, where residents can feel safe and relaxed.
The facilities available within the home are designed to enable residents to be as independent as possible, with the benefit of 24 hour care support provided around the clock by fully trained, kind and compassionate carers, delivering their services with the utmost dignity and respect. Our sociable amenities include a variety of comfortable lounges and dining spaces plus private bedrooms that are fully-furnished, all with en-suite facilities, allowing residents to personalise their room and make it their own space.
The Role
The role of the Domestic Assistant is essential in our mission to provide excellent care. Supporting the Housekeeper with the environment of the Home, the Domestic Assistant will contribute to the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents. The Domestic Assistant will ensure that the Home is clean, tidy and welcoming at all times. This role works closely with the care teams and residents, building trusting relationships to create a comfortable environment where our residents feel safe and cared for. From ensuring that rooms are clean to tidying communal areas, every task contributes to the value that we add to the lives of our residents.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the expected cleanliness and hygiene standards are achieved throughout the home
- Cover domestic duties as assigned
- Identify and report any damage, faults or other issues to maintenance or management
- Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule
- Use and store cleaning products in accordance to COSHH regulations
- Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager or Housekeeper.
