Bohill Care Home is a modern, purpose-built facility located just outside Coleraine Town Centre, surrounded by stunning countryside. Our home features 80 spacious single en-suite bedrooms spread across two floors, along with beautifully maintained gardens that provide a peaceful space for residents to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We offer specialised care across three dedicated units: Dementia Nursing, Dementia Residential, and Frail Elderly Nursing, all focused on delivering compassionate, person-centred support.
The Role: You will pride yourself on providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, fostering a welcoming environment where residents are treated with respect and dignity, and staff feel valued and supported. As part of our frontline team, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the Home, assisting with activities of daily living ensuring the wellbeing and comfort of residents. As a Care Assistant, you will also provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting a sense of compassion; help residents maintain independence where possible, encouraging involvement in activities. Support the nursing and healthcare team by monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any changes in their health or behaviour. Follow care plans tailored to individual residents' needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Desired Criteria: Educated to QCF/ NVQ Level 2 is desirable, but not essential. Previous experience in Health and Social Care preferred, although not essential as full training will be provided.
