The Home Meadow View is a beautiful, modern care home in Enniskillen, providing professional and compassionate care for up to 54 older people, including those living with dementia. Our safe and happy, home-from-home setting features luxury, state-of-the-art facilities and all the quintessential comforts in which to provide good quality, person-centred, residential and dementia care in Enniskillen. At Meadow View, residents' health and wellbeing are a priority. Our residents are fully supported to live a comfortable, active and fulfilled lifestyle, with compassionate carers on hand, around the clock, to support their individual needs and wishes.
All our private, light and spacious bedrooms are fully-furnished, with the benefit of en-suite facilities. Residents are very welcome to bring their own home accessories and furniture, to personalise their space and make it their home. As a Care Assistant with Kathryn Homes, you'll join a dedicated team united by a profound desire to positively impact the lives of our residents. We do not require our Care Assistants to have experience although it is beneficial. We are seeking individuals whose empathy and warm-hearted approach stand out. This is a casual Bank role. We need staff to be able to work Nights. All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of adults. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances. We do not offer sponsorship for this role.
Required Criteria:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A good standard of oral and written English.
- A non-judgemental approach to others.
- Excellent communication skills with the compassion required to deliver high-quality care to our residents.
- Respectful to not only residents but the values and beliefs of other team members.
Desired Criteria:
- Educated to QCF/ NVQ Level 2 is desirable, but not essential.
- Previous experience in Health and Social Care preferred, although not essential as full training will be provided.
