Rose Court is a professional, person-centred care and nursing home situated in Ballymena. This spacious home provides a range of specialist care services for older people, including residential, dementia and general nursing. We are proud of our high standards and values in providing care with the utmost dignity and respect. Our kind and compassionate care teams not only provide 24-hour care, they also share their good company, companionship and assistance whenever required, to ensure that residents feel listened to and supported, whatever their needs and wishes may be. The light and spacious, private bedrooms are beautifully furnished, all with en-suite facilities. The home, which is designed to enable those we care for to maintain their independence in a safe environment, has excellent amenities, including a café, comfortable lounges and dining spaces within which residents can relax and socialise. Residents are very welcome to bring their own home accessories and furniture, to personalise their space and make it their home.
The Role
Each of our Homes has a Maintenance person, who is vital in ensuring the safety, comfort and well-being of residents and team members. From fixing leaky taps to organising the repair of electrical systems to maintaining the grounds and ensuring fire safety regulations are met, this is a varied role and a key member of the team. With each repair and maintenance task, you’re not just fixing things, you’re supporting the team in providing excellent care to our residents in their Home. The Maintenance person is essential in ensuring we can provide a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for our residents where they feel at home. Ensures that Healthcare Ireland’s minimum standards are delivered in all units. Liaises with local contractors on site, as required, providing local knowledge and guidance in order that maintenance schedules can be on time.

Required Criteria
- The Right to Work in the UK
- A minimum of a year’s experience in a maintenance or similar role
- Basic numeracy and literacy are minimum requirements
- Valid UK driving license and use of a car for company business
