The Home This role will be across different Healthcare Ireland sites, it will be to assist existing maintenance personnel or cover any absence. You are required to have your own transport. The Role Each of our Homes has a Maintenance person, who is vital in ensuring the safety, comfort and well-being of residents and team members. From fixing leaky taps to organising the repair of electrical systems to maintaining the grounds and ensuring fire safety regulations are met this is a varied role and a key member of the team. With each repair and maintenance task, youre not just fixing things, youre supporting the team in providing excellent care to our residents in their Home. The Maintenance person is essential in ensuring we can provide a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for our residents where they feel at home. About The Role The Responsibilities: Maintains a well decorated, safe, and comfortable environment in and outside of the Home. Ensures that Healthcare Irelands minimum standards are delivered in all units. Travel to different HCI sites. Identifies and report damage, faults, and other related issues to line manager. Liaises with local contractors on site, as required, providing local knowledge and guidance in order that maintenance schedules can be on time. Deliver bloods, collect scripts and drive to suppliers when needed Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager.
