Are you a naturally caring person and want to help make a difference in people’s lives? If you are kind, compassionate and committed, we would love for you to join our nursing team at our lovely nursing home, Ashley Gardens.
About the Facility
Ashley Gardens provides nursing and respite care, and care to people living with dementia. It is a friendly and welcoming home run by a team of committed, compassionate and caring staff who are dedicated to ensuring every resident gets the most out of their experience.
Typical Day Responsibilities
- Provide support and care to our residents, meeting their physical and psychological needs
- Administration, documentation and ordering of prescribed medication
- Support with new admissions and discharges of residents
- Weekly GP rounds
- Updating and maintaining resident care plans, liaising with external parties where applicable
- Coaching, supporting and developing our care team to deliver a high standard of care at all times
Qualifications & Experience
Our nursing team are the backbone of our home and it is essential that our team have current NMC registrations, up to date knowledge of clinical practices and experience in writing detailed care plans including risk assessments and diet plans. A good understanding of regulatory frameworks including MCA / DoLs is also required.
Training
As part of our commitment to our nursing community, you will be provided with a thorough induction and training programme to further develop your skills along with the support and guidance of a well-established clinical training team.
