Do you have good attention to detail and want to help make a difference in people’s lives? If you are kind, compassionate and committed, we would love for you to join our housekeeping team at our lovely care home, The Chase. The Chase is a large, modern care home which provides residential and nursing care to elderly people living in Hertfordshire. The home contains a number of unique amenities readily available to residents and there is a strong focus on outdoor based activities and keeping residents active and healthy.
What would a typical day look like?
- Ensuring our residents rooms and communal areas remain clean and tidy
- Preparing vacant rooms for viewings and new admissions
- Stock control and storage of cleaning equipment and chemical
- Washing and ironing of our residents clothing, ensuring they are returned tidily and respectfully
- Undertaking repairs to damaged items so basic sewing skills are required
