Are you an organised and supportive person who wants to help make a difference in people’s lives? If you are kind, compassionate and committed, we would love for you to join our lovely nursing home, Sovereign Lodge as one of our Home Administrators. Sovereign Lodge provides residential and nursing care in a warm, friendly and welcoming environment. Situated close to the seafront in the town of Eastbourne, the home is surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens with ample seating for outside events. The staff adopt a person-centred approach and genuinely care for residents.

What would a typical day look like? Whilst no day will be the same in this role, responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the effective running of the home by providing support to the home management team.
  • Welcoming visitors and residents to the home, dealing with enquiries and managing correspondence.
  • Maintaining employee records and personnel files including starters and leavers.
  • Assisting with the preparation of employee payroll.
  • Processing and preparing residents admissions and discharges.
