If you are kind, compassionate and committed, we would love for you to lead our maintenance team at our lovely nursing home, Haughgate House. A residential and nursing care home in Woodbridge, Suffolk, with roots deeply embedded in local history. Originally crafted as a family home for the Cobbolds in the 1920s, today, it stands as a warm and inviting home committed to providing exceptional care. The quality and appearance of our homes create the first impression for visitors and are a source of enjoyment and immense pleasure for our residents and their families. Our maintenance teams take huge pride in maintaining our buildings to the highest possible standards.

What would a typical day look like?

  • Overseeing the upkeep of our home including painting, decorating, repairs and basic plumbing and electrical work
  • Ensuring our residents remain safe and comfortable by adhering to good health and safety practices at all times

Previous experience within gardening, decorating, plumbing and electrical work is essential and we can provide you with a thorough induction and training programme to further develop your skills along with the support and guidance of a well-established team who truly value their colleagues.
