Housekeeper Oaklands House, Reydon £12.71 per hour Bank shifts - to cover annual leave and sickness

Do you have good attention to detail and want to help make a difference in people’s lives? If you are kind, compassionate and committed, we would love for you to join our housekeeping team at our lovely care home, Oaklands House. Oaklands House is located in the seaside town of Southwold in Suffolk. The house is surrounded by five acres of mature woodland. Inside the home is a handsome entrance hall which leads on to a number of exquisite reception rooms. The stunning south-facing conservatory is ideal for peace and quiet but is also a popular meeting place for residents and guests.

What would a typical day look like?

  • Ensuring our residents' rooms and communal areas remain clean and tidy
  • Preparing vacant rooms for viewings and new admissions
  • Stock control and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Helping with laundry and kitchen when needed
