£26,000 - £29,000 dependent on experience and qualifications

Healthcare Homes Group are recruiting for a Trainer to join our Learning and Development team. Working as part of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering virtual inductions and face-to-face training to our new and existing care teams primarily across Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. You will contribute to the review and preparation of course materials and presentations, maintain accurate training information/records and prepare an accurate training calendar that meets the mandatory and requested requirements of the homes.

Previous experience as a trainer is not essential as support and training and qualifications will be provided; however, a background and experience delivering hands-on care within a care home setting is essential. This could be as an experienced Care Assistant, Advanced Healthcare Practitioner, Nursing Associate or Registered Nurse.

As our induction training is held virtually, you will need to have good computer skills including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to travel to various locations, so access to your own transport is essential and you will live in or within close proximity to the area. Occasional overnight stays may be required but advanced notice of this would be provided.
