Background: Healthcare Central London is an established CQC-registered NHS provider, delivering care for over five years. We provide NHS-funded ADHD assessment and treatment for adults through the Right to Choose pathway.

About our ADHD Service: Healthcare Central London is developing a high-quality ADHD assessment service focused on clinical rigour, consistency, and patient‑centred care. We are not focused on high‑volume assessment models and are building a service where clinicians are supported to deliver thorough, evidence‑based assessments and produce clinically robust reports. Our approach includes:

  • Comprehensive developmental history‑taking
  • Routine use of collateral information
  • Clear, evidence‑based diagnostic rationale
  • Reports that are individually tailored and clinically defensible

All assessment reports are subject to internal quality assurance and are expected to meet a defined clinical standard. Our mission is to be a best‑in‑class service recognised by both patients and referring clinicians for our transparent and high‑quality care.

About the Role: We are seeking a motivated clinician to join our growing team, supporting the delivery of remote Adult ADHD assessments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their expertise in ADHD assessment within a structured, supportive clinical environment. You will work alongside experienced clinicians and our Lead Consultant, contributing to high‑quality ADHD assessments and developing your diagnostic and reporting skills. You will be supported with clear frameworks, tools, and guidance to help you produce gold‑standard reports and deliver excellent patient care.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting and delivering remote ADHD diagnostic assessments for adult patients
  • Conducting structured clinical interviews using recognised tools, with appropriate guidance
  • Evaluating symptoms and contributing to assessment outcomes
  • Producing high‑quality diagnostic reports with support, feedback, and clear templates
  • Providing clear and empathetic feedback to patients, with senior clinical support where needed
  • Working closely with senior clinicians and the Lead Consultant to build expertise and ensure best practice
  • Using digital tools, including AI‑supported transcription, to support accurate and efficient documentation
  • Contributing to quality improvement processes and learning from audit feedback

What we offer: This role is ideal for clinicians who are looking to grow their experience in ADHD assessment within a well‑supported service. We offer:

  • A fully hybrid or remote (within the UK) role with flexibility
  • A stable employed position within a growing service
  • Structured onboarding and training in ADHD assessment and reporting
  • Regular clinical supervision, mentorship, and MDT discussion
  • Direct working relationship with experienced senior clinicians and the Lead Consultant
  • A clear assessment framework, report templates, and tools to support high‑quality output
  • Use of digital tools, including AI‑supported scribing, to reduce administrative burden
  • A well‑resourced operational team to support the end‑to‑end patient journey
  • A locally developed patient portal to streamline communication and patient engagement
  • Opportunities for progression and development into more senior clinical roles
  • A culture that values learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement

At Healthcare Central London (HCL), we are committed to expanding access to ADHD diagnosis while maintaining the highest clinical standards. We believe outstanding care is delivered when clinicians are supported, developed, and given the tools to succeed.

What we need from you: We are looking for a clinician who is keen to develop their ADHD assessment skills and is comfortable working in a digital, remote environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified healthcare professional (e.g., Psychologist, Psychiatrist, Mental Health Nurse) with experience delivering ADHD assessments
  • Current professional registration with relevant regulatory body
  • Experience working with adult mental health presentations
  • Prescribing experience
  • Understanding of ADHD and interest in developing assessment expertise
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good written skills, with willingness to develop report writing to a high standard
  • Confidence using digital systems and tools

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a remote or digital healthcare setting

Why join us? As demand for ADHD services continues to grow, we are building a sustainable model that supports both clinicians and patients. This role offers the opportunity to join a forward‑thinking organisation that prioritises:
