It is designed to accelerate deal origination and foster high‑value connections through formal meetings and informal networking. The result is intelligence that fuels innovation, value creation, and increased patient access. It is the forum of choice for the who’s who in the healthcare investing ecosystem shaping the future of the sector.

HBI is strengthening its proposition for Healthcare CEOs. We are looking for an intellectually curious, strategic, and relationship‑driven professional to assist the growth of this critical audience segment. You will join an ambitious and fast‑growing company that benefits from high‑quality brand recognition in its sector.

In this role, you will be right at the heart of building a community of Healthcare CEOs across Healthcare Services, Pharma Services, MedTech, Medical Device, Digital Health, and Healthcare IT. Your activities will primarily be focused on bringing these CEOs as VIPs to our Flagship Annual Event in Paris, identifying and securing them as speakers, learning what drives their growth, and helping to facilitate meetings. You will be involved in year‑round community engagement activities working with marketing, sales, and editorial teams as we grow our offering to support the investment and strategic growth drivers of this group changing the face of healthcare in EMEA and beyond.

This role reports into the Event Director at our offices in London’s Finsbury Park. We have a hybrid working policy allowing for remote working on Wednesdays with the other days spent in the office. HBI also offers other benefits including Vitality Health Insurance.

Core Responsibilities
  • Build and execute targeted campaigns to secure CEOs to attend events and join the community.
  • Identify and confirm speakers from this group helping to develop topics and shape event content.
  • Systematically onboard CEOs into the community gathering pertinent data points to support their activities.
  • Capture CEO strategic priorities, sectors, and markets of interest and feedback insights to the business to update marketing strategy and product design.
  • Facilitate and support meetings for this group through a mixture of technology and personal connections.
  • Develop partnerships with relevant industry associations, networks, and industry advisers to unlock warm introductions and expand reach.
  • Work with the editorial team to develop webinars, podcasts, and interviews with CEOs.
About you

This role is likely to suit candidates who are outgoing; perhaps you have previous experience in sales, business development, journalism, or client services. You will also:

  • Have 4+ years of proven experience selling to or engaging with C-level executives.
  • Have a background in B2B Events, Speaker Recruitment, Business Development, or Marketing.
  • Have a thirst for knowledge and building deep relationships to identify and creatively solve problems.
  • Be a good networker who is able to map out organisations and connections and leverage them to book meetings and conversations.
  • Have a partnership/community development mindset—comfortable building relationships that convert into attendance.
  • Exhibit strong outbound prospecting across LinkedIn, email, phone, and referrals.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisation and follow‑through across multiple concurrent campaigns.
  • Must have very good written and verbal communication in English adopting a telephone‑first approach.
  • Have an understanding and an interest in Investing, Finance, and Healthcare.
  • Possess a growth mindset and be proactive and self‑motivated.
