The Role
We’re looking for a Conference Sales Specialist to join Healthcare Business International and play a key role in growing our flagship healthcare conference. This role is focused on selling HBI’s core event solutions, including delegate tickets, Executive Meeting Suites and sponsorship opportunities. You will be responsible for new business, renewals and upselling, building relationships with senior decision-makers and working closely with marketing and events teams to maximise revenue opportunities.
What you'll be doing
- Driving new business through outbound prospecting and lead follow-up
- Selling delegate tickets, Executive Meeting Suites and sponsorship opportunities
- Upselling clients into larger, higher-value delegate packages
- Managing renewals and win-back opportunities
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline
- Running sales meetings with senior stakeholders
- Managing activity and forecasting through CRM
- Working closely with marketing and events teams to support growth
What we're looking for
- 2+ years’ experience in B2B & Event sales
- Experience selling delegate tickets, event space and sponsorship
- Strong outbound sales and pipeline generation experience
- Confidence engaging and selling to C-suite and senior decision-makers
- Proven ability to close deals and upsell
- Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills
- Proactive, resilient and commercially minded
- Additional European languages are a strong advantage
