It is designed to accelerate deal origination and foster high-value connections through formal meetings and informal networking. HBI is seeking a conference producer who will take ownership of HBI's renowned conference agenda, recruiting Healthcare CEOs, Private Equity Investors, and market expert speakers. You will play a crucial role in working with sponsors and community partners to craft interactive summits and identify case studies that deliver deep, actionable insight.

As HBI strengthens its proposition for Healthcare CEOs, you will assist in recruiting a community of healthcare CEOs and help develop an elevated experience. In this role, you will be at the heart of building a community of Healthcare CEOs across various sectors including Healthcare Services, Pharma Services, MedTech, Medical Device, Digital Health, and Healthcare IT. You will be involved in year-round community engagement activities working with marketing, sales, and editorial teams as we grow our offering to support the investment and strategic growth drivers of this group.

This role reports into the Event Director at our offices in London’s Finsbury Park. We have a hybrid working policy allowing for remote working on Wednesdays with the other days spent in the office. HBI also offers other benefits including Vitality Health Insurance.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Research, recruit for and execute conference agenda in line with HBI's known content quality.
  • Work with Sponsors and Partners to develop summits, breakfast briefings, roundtables, and panel discussions.
  • Assist with marketing sessions and agenda through compelling copywriting.
  • Write detailed session plans and moderator briefs.
  • Develop partnerships with relevant industry associations, networks, and industry advisers to unlock warm introductions and expand reach.
  • Engage in CEO recruitment for the event alongside speaker recruitment.
  • Work with the editorial team to develop webinars, podcasts, and interviews with CEOs.
About you:
  • You will be an experienced conference producer with 5+ years of proven experience working on B2B conferences engaging C-level executives.
  • You have a thirst for knowledge and building deep relationships to identify and creatively solve problems.
  • You are a good networker who can map out organisations and connections and leverage them to book meetings and conversations.
  • You have a partnership/community development mindset—comfortable building relationships that convert into attendance.
  • Strong outbound prospecting across LinkedIn, email, phone, and referrals.
  • Excellent organisation and follow-through across multiple concurrent campaigns.
  • You must have very good written and verbal communication in English adopting a telephone-first approach.
  • You have an understanding and an interest in Investing, Finance, and Healthcare.
  • You have a growth mindset and are proactive and self-motivated.
