This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to own and grow the DACH market in an ambitious and fast-growing company. HBI’s market leading event has an extensive investment and digital transformation focus covering Hospitals, Elderly Care, Diagnostics, Pharmacies, Digital Health, Healthcare IT and specialty Outpatient services such as Dental, Ophthalmology, Aesthetics, Fertility and Mental Health. In 2026 the event will also extend to cover MedTech, BioTech and Pharma Services with a target to achieve 40% growth.
We are looking for an energetic and driven German-speaking B2B sales person to renew, grow and build a portfolio of clients in the DACH region taking on a space-first approach to selling Meeting rooms, delegate tickets and entry level sponsorship. This role reports to the Event Director and can be based in our London or Paris office. The successful candidate will join a four-strong commercial team and be responsible for growing a sizeable client list predominantly in Germany but into Switzerland and Austria too.
HBI has a hybrid working policy, we work together at our modern Finsbury Park office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. HBI also offers other benefits including Vitality Health Insurance.
Core responsibilities and Qualifications needed:- Renew and grow event revenues on a strong set of existing healthcare investors, advisors suppliers and provider businesses against or above target.
- Break new ground and build a new business pipeline including new MedTech and Pharma Services businesses against or above target.
- High-degree of pipeline management and forecasting using Salesforce CRM.
- Communicating feedback, new ideas and potential news contacts internally.
- Must have very good written and verbal communication in German and English adopting a telephone-first approach.
- Be a good networker who is able to map out organisations and connections and leverage them to book meetings and conversations.
- Have an understanding and an interest in Investing, Finance and Healthcare.
- Have a growth mindset and be proactive and self-motivated.
