This post is part of the growing Research Delivery team based at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport. The post holder will be responsible for the set-up and delivery of studies, working as part of a multi-professional team. This will include complex trials managed within our Clinical Research Centre and research studies in specialties across the Health Board.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse/AHP to develop their career in a committed, collaborative and supportive team. Personal and professional development is a priority and you should expect a range of training and development opportunities.

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board are especially keen to hear from applicants with experience of clinical research delivery, however full training will be provided. You should be an experienced professional with a strong interest in research and person- centred care.

The Research Officer role is suitable for experienced Clinical Research Practitioners and Registered Allied Health Professionals.

Contract type: Fixed term – 2 years

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Salary: Band 6: £37,898 to £45,637 a year per annum
