The Neurology Research Group works on a range of projects and programmes aimed at improving services and the lives of people with neurological conditions through clinical, genetic, and population data science research.
We are seeking a Research Assistant and Data Scientist to work on neurology research projects using routinely collected data, primarily with the SAIL databank.
Based at Swansea University\’s Singleton Park campus, the post holder will participate in innovative research, engage with partners, demonstrate practical application and strategic expertise, and focus efforts to achieve significant impact.
This fixed-term position involves working as part of a team to use routinely collected data to understand functional/dissociative seizures in Wales and to assist with a project using natural language processing to understand drug-resistant epilepsy.
