We are a well-established company with over 40 years of experience in developing new, innovative, high-quality healthcare and nutritional supplements which are available through leading independent pharmacies and health food stores. We are currently looking for a Field Sales Manager to sell to existing customers (pharmacies and health food stores), develop new business opportunities, create brand awareness, and provide a first-class service to our customers in Avon, Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire, Hereford, Worcester, Dyfed, Shropshire and South Wales. The ideal candidate should be preferably located in and around Bristol or Bath - being within easy reach to all our customers in these areas.
Key responsibilities:
- Maximise sales within the existing portfolio of customers.
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets to maximise sales.
- Visit all live accounts at least once in an eight-week journey cycle.
- Agree on orders with the buyers for each account and forward to Head Office for processing, invoicing, and despatch.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships and promote products and the brand.
- Understand Customer Needs and requirements fully to recognise opportunities and maximise Sales.
- Motivate and train retailer staff to provide the necessary skills and to encourage the sale of the Company’s products in preference to those of the Competitors.
- Ensure that the Company products are effectively merchandised in-store to maximise visibility, for sale and potential volume.
- Prospecting and new customer acquisition.
- Be organised and comply with all field sales reporting and admin requirements.
Desirable qualifications and experience:
- Have field sales experience.
- Possess a history of selling within a B2B environment.
- Be prepared to travel extensively across Southwest England and South Wales.
- Have experience in journey planning and territory management.
- Be well organised and initiative-taking.
- Possess excellent B2B presentation and negotiation skills.
- Have knowledge of industry/products/nutrition (an added advantage).
- Have UK full driving licence.
