Yorke and Northern Local Health Network’s Healthy Ageing Team is seeking compassionate Community Support Workers to deliver vital home‑based care across Mid North locations including Peterborough, Orroroo, and Booleroo. In this role, you’ll provide personalised support services—domestic assistance, personal care, transport, social connection and therapies—helping clients maintain independence and wellbeing in their homes. You’ll work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team, ensuring care plans are tailored, respectful, and effective.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver high‑quality personal care and domestic support per client care plans.
- Assist with mobility, nutrition, hygiene, and social engagement.
- Support client independence through restorative programs and therapeutic interventions.
- Maintain safe, clean environments and assist with meal preparation and transport.
- Communicate and collaborate with health professionals, clients, and carers.
- Uphold safety, quality standards, and privacy in all duties.
- Contribute positively to a supportive, team‑focused work environment.
What we’re looking for:
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Disabilities or equivalent.
- Experience working with aged, frail or disabled clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility and teamwork.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to confidentiality, client dignity and cultural respect.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of safe work practices.
