Personal/Home Care Assistant Cheddleton, Staffordshire JOB REF: DM1025 I am looking for a Personal Assistant to join my family support team. Ideally you will have experience of supporting someone with a spinal cord injury, although this isnt essential. My injury has had a big impact on my physical health as I am now a full-time wheelchair user who needs support from others. I am a 28 -year-old man who lives on my family dairy farm. I enjoy comedy and I am a Stoke City season ticket holder. I suffer with chronic pain as a result of my injury, and I need help managing this. You will receive: Hourly rate of £12.58 A pension if eligible 5.6 weeks holiday leave pro-rata Full certificated training on all aspects of the role Hours available: A minimum of 35 hours per week There will be opportunity to work additional hours on occasions in relation to holidays and sickness Whats Required: Provide assistance with some aspects of personal care. A full driving licence. Flexibility in working hours essential, occasional evening hours may also be required. Comfortable working around friendly dogs. An enhanced DBS check, the cost will be covered by the Employer. We are ideally, but not essentially, looking for a male applicant of a similar age with a sense of humour who would motivate and encourage the client.
