I am looking for a Personal Assistant / Carer to join my support team. Ideally you will have experience of supporting someone with a brain injury and promoting independence, however this is not essential.
My injury has had a big impact on my physical health and I need support with managing my personal care and healthcare needs each day. When I am well, I enjoy playing on my Playstation and doing arts/crafts.
You will receive:
- £12.71 per hour
- A pension if eligible
- 5.6 weeks per year pro rata annual leave
- Full certificated training on all aspects of the role
Hours available: A minimum of 9 hours per week usually worked Wednesday-Friday between 3pm and 6pm during term time, however there is the opportunity to work additional hours during term time, and more during non-term time.
Whats Required:
- Provide assistance with all aspects of personal care, bathing, washing, and dressing when needed.
- Support and supervision within the home.
- A full driving licence (optional not essential)
- Flexibility in working hours essential.
- Weekend work available if required.
- Daily support with use and care of a PEG (feeding tube) and medications.
- An enhanced DBS check, the cost will be met by the Employer.
