We are seeking a motivated Trainee Financial Controller to join our finance team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in financial management and accounting within a dynamic organisation. The successful candidate will assist with various financial processes, gaining valuable experience and insight into our financial operations. This position is a core part of the finance function and involves regular coordination with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, customers, and auditors. Duties
- Utilise accounting software such as Sage and Xero to record and manage financial data
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure data integrity
- Contribute to the reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies as required
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis tasks
- Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities
- Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency
- Be a point of contact within the organisation to help resolve financial issues
- Provide a professional insight for department heads and the board on matters as requested from time to time
