Sanctuary Personnel is offering a permanent full‐time SEND Senior Practitioner Auditor role based in Haringey.
Salary: up to £50,890 per annum.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager and SEND Performance Manager to ensure the implementation and delivery of the SEND Quality Assurance Framework through an agreed programme of audit activity.
- Allocate audits of EHCPS and Annual Reviews as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager, including working to audit specifications and writing bespoke audit tools.
- Analyse audit data and prepare written reports on the audit findings.
- Prepare reports and deliver presentations on audit findings to staff at all levels of the Department and to partners from agencies who support statutory assessment, including health and social care.
- Support the Quality Assurance Manager in embedding quality assurance processes, including audit activity, across the SEND Service.
- Collate, maintain and report on data identified areas of practice.
- Work closely with the Children's Workforce Development Team to ensure that findings from quality assurance activity are reflected in appropriate training for staff.
- Through the quality assurance and audit process report to the Policy and Procedures Officer to ensure that policies and procedures are relevant to the needs of children and families.
- Understand and comply with guidelines that ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work, Data Protection and other statutory requirements.
- Promote and implement the Council's Equal Opportunities.
- Take on any other temporary responsibilities aligned with the overall purpose and grade of the role.
Qualifications:
- A Social Work Degree or equivalent.
- Understanding of relevant legislation.
- Social Work England registration.
- Past management experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good timekeeping skills.
