The predicted salary is between 26520 - 35460 £ per year.

We are looking for a passionate Teacher who would be working with children aged between 8 and 16 years of age with special education needs. Ideally you will have a have experience of working with Children with Learning Disabilities, Autism (ASD), complex needs or social & emotional difficulties.

You will be key in delivering high-quality teaching to the young people within a safe environment helping to equip them for the next stage of their lives. This is a Special Education Needs college supporting children & Young people who have Autism (ASD).

Criteria

  • Relevant knowledge of working with children with Autism, Learning Disabilities or SEMH.

  • Understanding Safeguarding and child protection guidelines.

  • PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of in-service training.

  • Good communication skills both written & verbal.

  • Ability to engage students in positive enabling relationships.

  • £31’500K – £44’500K per annum, DOE, Equivalent to M1 – UPS2

  • Full-time, 40-hours per week (term-time only).

  • Immediate start available.
