Your Role: In this Residential Support Worker job in County Durham, you’ll be part of a dedicated team at a newly established children’s home near Bishop Auckland, where you’ll help support young people with complex health needs, including physical and learning challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing care and support tailored to each child’s needs.

Assisting with daily activities, personal care, and health management.

Creating a safe and nurturing environment that fosters growth and learning.

Supporting children with life skills, emotional development, and behaviour management.

Working collaboratively with other professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Previous experience in a residential or care setting working with children is essential

Qualified to Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent, or willing to work towards.

Flexibility to undertake sleep-in duties as needed.

A passion for delivering positive outcomes for young people.

Salary: £26K – £30K per annum plus additional hours when available & Sleep in’s.

Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week) or Part-Time positions available
