Due to the nature of work that Sonic Healthcare UK undertakes, our clients require that Employees filling certain roles, need, as part of their on-boarding to complete a DBS Check. This role falls in to the category of requiring a DBS check (standard)

About the role :

We are currently looking for a part time phlebotomist to work 25 hours per week covering Monday – Sunday shift pattern.

It is an exciting and transformational time working with the Hertfordshire and West Essex NHS ICB. Sonic Healthcare UK will be taking on the management of Phlebotomy and Pathology Laboratories in the geography including a phlebotomy cohort of circa 150 Phlebotomists.

There are various full time and part time phlebotomist opportunities available for experienced phlebotomists. These roles will have their base at Princess Alexandra Hospital with the opportunity to work in various and exciting phlebotomy settings such as outpatients, ward rounds and in community clinics.

Key duties will include :

  • To be a valued phlebotomist in a motivated team with a patient care focus.
  • To ensure professional and technical standards are maintained within the services at all times.
