About the role: The Cellular Pathology laboratory at 60 Whitfield Street (60WS) is a consolidated service involving multiple hospitals. We are looking for an experienced Senior Biomedical Scientist who will have an impact on all parts of our service, being actively involved in the quality management system (QMS) throughout our diagnostic cytology service. The normal hours of work are 37.5 hours per week; the normal opening hours of the laboratory are 9.00 to 17.30, Monday to Friday.
You will need to be self‑motivated, flexible, and reliable and have good interpersonal skills as well as having the ability to use your own initiative and take responsibility for one's own work. The Laboratory depends heavily on I.T. and the person should be willing to learn new computer skills where necessary.
