About the role:
A vacancy has arisen for a Blood Transfusion Manager in our Blood Sciences Department based at the Lister Hospital Essential Services Laboratory (ESL). The role will involve leading the Blood Transfusion team and maintaining compliance with UKAS and MHRA, and supporting the BMS staff as and when required in the section. The post holder is also expected to work collaboratively with the other Seniors and Managers in the Pathology Department.
We are looking for someone to continue progressing our quality environment, with a flexible and innovative approach as a technical manager. Skills such as project management, organisational change, routine administration, personnel, finance and quality management will be valuable. You will be required to work 40 hours per week during core hours.
