Salary range: Up to £55,046 per annum DOE inclusive of regional allowance

We have a combined Immunology/Virology & Enterics service offered within our Blood Sciences department. The laboratory is clinically led and UKAS accredited, offering a range of specialist techniques, both automated and manual, including testing samples on Vidas3, Agility, Bioplex 2000, Diasorin XL, Gemini, AIX1000, Agility and Helios analysers.

We are looking for an experienced Biomedical Scientist to join our dedicated and friendly Viral Serology team. The ideal candidate will have completed their training in Virology/Microbiology with a minimum of 3 years working experience post HCPC registration in viral serology / infectious sciences. Candidates will be paid at a level appropriate to their training and experience.

The department is located in central London with state of the art facilities, well equipped with the latest technologies providing a robust and efficient service to both public and private sector. The department has IBMS approval for training, where CPD is supported and actively encouraged.
