About the role

It is an exciting and transformational time working with the Hertfordshire and West Essex NHS ICB. Sonic Healthcare UK will be taking on the management of Phlebotomy and Pathology Laboratories in the geography including a phlebotomy cohort of circa 150 Phlebotomists. There is an opportunity for a Phlebotomy Administration Officer. This role will have their base at Princess Alexandra Hospital and adjacent clinic areas with the opportunity to work in various phlebotomy settings such as outpatients reception, back office and telephone reception.

Responsibilities

  • Work at Princess Alexandra Hospital and adjacent clinic areas in various phlebotomy settings such as outpatients reception, back office, and telephone reception.
  • Be a valued member of a motivated team with a patient care focus.
  • Ensure professional and technical standards are maintained within the services at all times.
  • Complete the required DBS check (standard) as part of onboarding.
