About the role: We have an exciting opportunity to join the Endpoint team working in the IT Department. The IT Endpoint team are responsible for the provision and maintenance of a wide range of IT hardware, supporting the business through a combination of remote tools and field work. The successful candidate will work from our core laboratory at The Halo, as well as visiting our sites countrywide to provide an excellent response to support calls to minimize disruption to our busy labs. The role holder will work with desktop PCs, laptops, thin clients, printers, scanners and mobile phones. Supported by the wider team, the successful applicant will manage their own individual tickets as well as contributing to wider department objectives and projects. Great time management and written and verbal communication skills are essential. The successful applicant will be comfortable working independently, often traveling to sites to resolve issues solo. The ideal candidate will be someone with some experience, either professional or personal, of working with computer hardware and someone who understands the main computing components and is enthusiastic about repairs and upgrades. This is a physical role and would suit an active and energetic individual who enjoys hands-on IT support.
