Due to the nature of work that Sonic Healthcare UK undertakes, our clients require that Employees filling certain roles, need, as part of their on-boarding to complete a DBS Check. This role falls into the category of requiring a DBS check (standard)
About the role: A vacancy has arisen for a Biomedical Scientist (BMS) in our Biochemistry Department based at Princess Alexandra Harlow (PAH) Hospital following implementation of a new Pathology and Phlebotomy services programme commissioned by the Herts and West Essex Integrated Care Board which has commenced operation from 1st March 2025.
The laboratory at PAH provides a routine Biochemistry service 7 days a week. The successful candidate will join our team of dedicated biomedical scientists and associate practitioners in delivering a high-quality pathology service. The ideal candidate will be committed to service excellence and have a genuine desire for continued personal and professional development.
Candidates should have a suitable approved undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science (or equivalent), Specialist IBMS portfolio and or post graduate degree in relevant discipline and be registered with the HCPC. Post qualification laboratory experience is essential for this role.
