About the role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HCPC‑registered Biomedical Scientist to join the Pathology TDL Cleveland Clinic as bank night staff. This is not a training role and only experienced band 6 BMS staff will be considered. The laboratory is located a few minutes walk from Victoria station and provides a 24‑hour service with a multi‑discipline repertoire.
- This role requires experience in several disciplines with Blood Transfusion experience essential.
- The position is for bank cover of night shifts, with regular rostered Saturday night shifts and cover of other night shifts as required.
- The successful candidate will participate in the routine processing of all pathology (Haematology, Biochemistry, Transfusion) specimens and issue of blood components with the support of an MLA.
