We are advertising for a newly created part-time, 0.2 FTE (8 hours), Biochemistry Training Officer, to support the Sonic Training Academy. This role will report to the Training Academy Manager and is based at the Royal Free Hospital and remotely from home. Ideally, the successful candidate will work 1 day a week, but we are open to 2 half days.
The post holder will be responsible for creating and delivering biochemistry practical training sessions, workshops, and seminars. They will also support the completion of IBMS registration portfolios and mentor students. Applicants should have laboratory experience, be HCPC registered, with a background in Biochemistry, and have experience training diverse groups professionally and organized. Collaboration with other subject matter experts within the profession is essential.
The role is located at the Royal Free Hospital, accessible via Hampstead Heath Rail (4 min walk), Belsize Park (15 min walk), and Gospel Oak (17 min walk).
