We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to join this fantastic Children’s Home which has been operating for over 15 years. They are looking for a Manager to lead one of their OFSTED-registered children’s homes. You will take overall responsibility for the running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and outcomes for young people aged 8–18 with complex needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of a children’s home in line with OFSTED standards
  • Ensure care plans, policies, and safeguarding procedures are fully implemented
  • Supervise, appraise, and develop staff to deliver outstanding care
  • Oversee budgets, resources, and compliance with statutory frameworks
  • Promote equality, diversity, and positive outcomes for young people
  • Act as Designated Manager in regulatory inspections and audits

Requirements

  • NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership & Management (Residential Childcare) or working towards
  • 4–5 years’ post-qualification experience in children’s residential care
  • Proven leadership and staff management experience
  • Strong knowledge of relevant childcare legislation and safeguarding practices
  • Full UK driving licence
