Deputy Manager (Non-Nurse) – Care Home
Location: Tetbury, Gloucestershire
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent
The Role
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
- Lead, supervise, and develop the care team
- Oversee care planning, assessments, and person-centred delivery
- Support audits, quality assurance, and CQC compliance
- Deputise for the Registered Manager when required
- Support residents living with dementia and complex needs
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Senior Carer, or Team Leader in a care home
- NVQ / Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential)
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and care planning
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and person-centred approach
