Overview

Deputy Manager (Non-Nurse) – Care Home

Location: Tetbury, Gloucestershire

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum

Hours: Full-Time, Permanent

The Role

  • Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
  • Lead, supervise, and develop the care team
  • Oversee care planning, assessments, and person-centred delivery
  • Support audits, quality assurance, and CQC compliance
  • Deputise for the Registered Manager when required
  • Support residents living with dementia and complex needs

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Senior Carer, or Team Leader in a care home
  • NVQ / Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and care planning
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Compassionate, reliable, and person-centred approach
