The Role
As Registered Care Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high-quality care is delivered in line with CQC standards and regulatory requirements. You'll lead the staff team, oversee operational performance, and create a positive environment where residents receive compassionate, safe, and effective care.
- Lead the day-to-day management of the care home.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation.
- Promote high-quality, person-centred care for all residents.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary staff team.
- Oversee recruitment, staff supervision, appraisals, and performance management.
- Manage budgets, occupancy, and operational performance.
- Ensure effective medication management, clinical governance, and health & safety compliance.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
- Monitor quality assurance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
About You
We\'re looking for a compassionate and experienced leader with a strong clinical background. Essential Requirements
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC Pin.
- Previous experience as a Registered Care Home Manager or in a senior management role within a care home.
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and adult social care legislation.
- Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, complex needs, or behaviours that may challenge.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to lead by example and build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Passion for delivering outstanding care and achieving excellent service outcomes.
