Registered Domiciliary Care Manager
Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent

We are recruiting a Registered Domiciliary Care Manager to lead a growing private domiciliary care service in Tunbridge Wells. The service is approximately one year into operations, CQC registered, and currently supporting a small client base with a clear focus on private care growth. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a start-up environment and is eager to help build and develop a service from the ground up.
Please note: Candidates from large, corporate care backgrounds may not be the right fit for this role. We are looking for someone entrepreneurial, grounded, and ready to roll their sleeves up.
The Role
- Take day-to-day operational responsibility for the domiciliary care service
- Deliver and oversee hands-on care including complex needs and PEG feeding
- Drive business development and support growth of the private client base
- Maintain CQC compliance, safeguarding, and quality standards
- Manage care plans, documentation, and risk assessments
- Build relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Support the strategic direction of the service alongside the owner
Requirements
- Currently CQC registered or previously registered as a Domiciliary Care Manager
- Experience within a start-up or independently run care service β desirable
- Background in adult care including complex needs and PEG feeding
- Commercially minded with an appetite for business development
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (working towards accepted)
- Full UK driving licence β essential
- Hands-on, flexible, and committed to growing the service long-term
- Commutable Areas: Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Crowborough, Paddock Wood, Maidstone, Uckfield and surrounding areas
