An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CQC Registered Manager to join a growing care provider based in Tunbridge Wells.

This is a unique opportunity to oversee an established domiciliary care service, currently delivering approximately 800–900 care hours per week, while playing a key role in developing and growing the organisation's Supported Accommodation provision.

We're looking for a proactive, hands‑on leader who enjoys building services, supporting teams, and driving quality.

You'll work closely with the business owner to help shape the future of the organisation while ensuring the highest standards of care and regulatory compliance.

The role As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the domiciliary care service while supporting the development of a new supported accommodation provision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the domiciliary care service.
  • Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation.
  • Support the development and mobilisation of the Supported Accommodation service.
  • Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the care team.
  • Oversee recruitment, inductions, supervisions, and staff development.
  • Monitor quality assurance, audits, safeguarding, and compliance.
  • Build strong relationships with service users, families, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and commissioners.
  • Support business growth and identify opportunities to expand services.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and provide operational leadership when required.

About You

We're looking for an experienced and motivated care professional who is passionate about delivering excellent care and supporting service growth.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager within domiciliary care.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and adult social care legislation.
  • Experience managing domiciliary care services and leading staff teams.
  • Passion for developing and growing new services.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and willing to take a hands‑on approach.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

  • Experience within Supported Living or Supported Accommodation services.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Adult Care (or equivalent).
