Join us as the leader of a 1‑bed solo children’s home in a therapeutic environment. You will be responsible for safeguarding, operational management and achieving positive outcomes for young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall leadership and day‑to‑day management of the home.
  • Drafting and reviewing placement plans, care plans and risk assessments.
  • Leading, supervising and developing a trauma‑informed staff team.
  • Managing staff rotas to ensure safe staffing levels.
  • Safeguarding oversight, incident management and statutory notifications.
  • Budget management and financial accountability.
  • Preparation for and leading Ofsted inspections.
  • Multi‑agency liaison with social workers and external professionals.
  • Participation in the on‑call rota.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous Registered Manager experience in children’s residential care.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or enrolled).
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Children’s Homes Regulations.
  • Experience managing complex placements.
  • Calm, resilient and structured leadership approach.
