We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead a well-established residential mental health service in Southend-on-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic, reputable provider.

You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and positive outcomes for residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overall management and leadership of the residential service
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and safeguarding standards
  • Leading, supporting, and developing the staff team
  • Overseeing care planning, risk assessments, and quality assurance
  • Maintaining strong relationships with external professionals and stakeholders
  • Ensuring the service remains inspection-ready at all times
  • Participating in a shared on-call rota
Essential Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager within a residential or mental health setting
  • Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Leadership & Management) – essential
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory frameworks
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive, resilient, and person-centred approach
