We are excited to be working with a fantastic and well-established Children’s Home who is looking to bring on an experienced Registered Children’s Manager. As Registered Manager, you’ll take the lead in a therapeutic residential children’s home in Solihull. This is a high impact role with full support from a central team, so you can focus on what matters most – the children and the people who care for them. The central team handles HR, recruitment, training coordination, rota planning, and monthly reports, removing distractions so you can focus on care and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of a residential children’s home
- Mentor staff and develop future leaders
- Ensure high standards in care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance

Requirements
- Level 5 NVQ in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or enrolled and working toward completion)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in residential childcare (including 1 year in a supervisory/management role)
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and attachment-based practice
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Must meet Ofsted’s ‘fit person’ criteria: Enhanced DBS clearance, full reference checks, verified employment history
