Overview
Outpatient Nurse role based in Reading, offering up to Β£41,300 per year. Full-time position in a respected private outpatient clinic with exposure across multiple specialties and clear opportunities for career progression.
Responsibilities
- Support consultants during outpatient clinics across specialties, including Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and Coloproctology.
- Carry out nurse-led Urology and ENT procedures such as bladder instillations, wound care, skin prick testing, and patient education; assist consultants with minor procedures.
- Ensure accurate record keeping and adherence to CQC and clinic policies.
- Provide a calm, empathetic presence for patients and support a smooth patient experience in a busy outpatient department.
- Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- NMC registered with post-registration experience in outpatients or a related clinical setting; training provided for the right candidate.
- Organised, flexible and confident working across multiple specialties.
- Patient-focused with excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach.
- Committed to maintaining high clinical standards and contributing to continuous improvement.
